The Wedding Dress

The minimalist pure white gown was designed by Clare Waight Keller, British stylist and art director for Givenchy. Featuring a boat neck, framing the Duchess’ shoulders and emphasising her waist. The wedding dress is made of double-bonded silk cady cushioned by an underskirt in triple silk organza. We must admit that the choice of silk cady took us by surprise! However we are delighted to announce that we shall now be stocking this fabulous new silk.

The five metre white silk veil was embroidered with the flora native to 53 countries of the Commonwealth. The bride wore shoes made of duchesse satin based on the Givenchy refined point.

The bridesmaids’ dresses were designed by Waight Keller to echo the timeless feel of The Duchess’ dress. Made from ivory silk radzimir and finished with an ivory double silk ribbon bow.
