FABRIC and trims FEATURED AT CHELSEA HARBOUR

James Hare's Orissa Silk, Marine Green and Miramar Silk, Aquilegia were used as placemats on the centre table of the dining room in Design Centre Chelsea Harbour's WOW!house. Ribbon Trim, Howdah Fringe, and Hatchett Braid were also used on the lambrequin alongside drapery made from Orissa, Astor and Connaught Silk. The dining room has been beautifully designed by Ken Fulk for The Rug Company.

Bold hues also await in AD100 designer Ken Fulk's dining room, which draws upon his work with the Rug Company. To complement the centrepiece carpet, an homage to the V&A Museum’s Poynter Room, the AD100 designer leaned into another opportunity to celebrate the cultural institution, taking inspiration from its Morris Room and cafe.

"Fromental donated a custom wall covering and a series of inset panels that reimagined some of our favourite animals, flowers, and figures that Ken Fulk Inc.’s art department initially drew for the rug ‘tiles,’" says Fulk. “We took that reference point one step further by commissioning our favourite porcelain artist, Linda Fahey, to create a pair of large swan centrepieces, dinnerware, and creatures that are individually collaged in a modern interpretation of the transfer-ware technique.” Ken Fulk in conversation with Architectural Digest, 2024.

WOW!house is showing until Thursday 4th July 2024, pop down to Chelsea Harbour to experience 19 rooms created by world class designers.
